Perth will turn Maroon and Blue because the State of Origin is in town this week. But all eyes are on Queensland who must win to keep the series alive.
In a high-stakes showdown at Optus Stadium on Wednesday night, the Queensland Maroons face off against the New South Wales Blues in Game Two of the State of Origin series.
With the Blues aiming for back-to-back victories after their 18-6 win in the first match, the Maroons, with significant lineup changes, including a new captain, look to stave off defeat.
As both teams gear up for intense competition, fans are set for an unforgettable night of rugby league action.
Queensland's coach, Billy Slater, has reportedly made the biggest call of his career by replacing captain Daly Cherry-Evans with Tom Dearden at halfback. Cam Munster will take over as skipper.
There are also a few changes to the Maroons' lineup: Kurt Capewell will start in the back row, Jeremiah Nanai will move to the bench, and Beau Fermor will be left out of the squad.
Kurt Mann will make his Origin debut wearing jersey No.14, and Trent Loiero will start at lock for the first time, leading to Pat Carrigan moving to the interchange bench.
Outside backs Valentine Holmes and Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow have switched positions, with Holmes now in the centre and Tabuai-Fidow on the wing. Ezra Mam remains the 18th man, and Jack Howarth and Corey Horsburgh are on the reserves list.
For the Blues, Jarome Luai will reunite with Nathan Cleary in the halves after Mitchell Moses was ruled out due to a calf injury sustained during training.
Luai, who has played in all three matches of last year's series, will team up with Cleary for this important game.
Another adjustment for the Blues involves Storm prop Stefano Utoikamanu joining the bench, while Max King moves to the starting side due to Mitch Barnett's knee injury.
Matt Burton is the 18th man, and Jacob Preston is included in the extended squad after Keaon Koloamatangi suffered a facial fracture in a recent game.
Brian To'o has been cleared to play after completing the team's final training before heading to Perth.
Coach Laurie Daley reports that To'o and his sore left hamstring were evaluated, and after a warm-up with the physio team, he participated in a practice match against the NSW Under-19 side.
Unless there are last-minute changes, To'o is expected to play on Wednesday when the Blues aim to secure a series victory with a match to spare.
"He's ready to rock," Luai told the ABC. "He's one of the best wingers to play this game of rugby league. He's a big piece in this puzzle."
State of Origin Game Two will kick off at 10.05pm on Wednesday, NZ time.
