Bula FC’s stoppage-time heroics, South Melbourne’s last-gasp equaliser, and Vanuatu United’s stubborn draw made round four of the OFC Pro League a thriller, with round five set for Fiji in April.








Round four of the OFC Pro League delivered all the drama Oceania football fans could hope for.
And now with round five heading to Fiji in April, the excitement is far from over.
Bula FC staged a sensational comeback to beat South Island United 3-2 at the National Stadium in Honiara last week.
After conceding two early goals, the Fijians refused to give in.
Sterling Vasconcellos set up Thomas Dunn to halve the deficit before Kaile Auvray won a penalty, which captain Roy Krishna converted to level the scores.
Then, in the 11th minute of injury time, Scott Wara capped a remarkable turnaround with a spectacular overhead kick.

“This win lifts Bula FC into third on the table for the first time this season,” the club said in a statement.
Their round five clash in Fiji against Papua New Guinea (PNG) Hekari FC promises to test whether Bula can carry this momentum forward at home.
Vanuatu United FC and Auckland FC played out a tense 0-0 draw, with both sides creating chances but neither able to break the deadlock.

Vanuatu’s Alex Saniel was a constant threat on the counter, while Auckland’s Reid Drake and substitute Tass Mourdoukoutas went close for the visitors.
“The league leaders continued to threaten through set-pieces and corners, but were unable to convert with Vanuatu United’s defence holding firm to secure a well-earned point,” read the media release.
Both teams now set their sights on Fiji, ready to take on new challenges in round five.
Meanwhile, South Melbourne FC stunned the Honiara crowd with a dramatic late equaliser against hosts Solomon Kings FC.
The home side had taken the lead in first-half stoppage time through Javin Wae, only for Charlie Leech to secure a 1-1 draw in second-half stoppage time after a VAR review.
“Both teams now look forward to Round 5 of the OFC Pro League in Fiji in April, having put on a spectacle for Oceania football tonight,” the team release said.
