The shows scheduled at one of the six Polyfest stages have been cancelled due to the wet weather.
Despite the weather, thousands have come out to Auckland's ASB Polyfest, but the extreme conditions are causing major changes to the programme.
In a social media post, organisers confirm the Māori Stage Division 2 is cancelled, and rearrangements will be confirmed for the participating schools.
Division One is still scheduled to take place on Saturday at the Manukau Sports Bowl.
Repairs are currently underway, and refunds are being offered to those who purchased tickets for Friday's performances at the Māori Stage.
The Sāmoa Stage started two hours late after power was restored.
Vector is working to resolve the power outages in Remuera, and MetService has issued a heavy rain warning that remains in effect until 2pm.
