The New Zealand Warriors will be seeking their second win of the season when they come up against the Roosters at Go Media Stadium tonight.
The New Zealand Warriors are eager to improve on their first win last week as they face the 14th-placed Sydney Roosters at Go Media Stadium tonight.
With one win and one loss to their record this season, the Warriors aim to keep their momentum going at the ‘Fortress of Faith’ tonight.
Head coach Andrew Webster says he was proud of the team’s efforts despite some dicey calls last week.
“We got called offside a lot. They started making it hard on themselves, but I think we held our composure and got back into the fight.”
The Warriors named an unchanged side for tonight's clash, including young backrowers Demtric Vaimauga and Leka Halasima.
Charnze Nicholl-Klokstad remains in the fullback jersey, while former captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck lines up on the wing.
Webster has committed to the same line-up for the first three rounds and encourages fans to trust the process.
“After round one, everyone was calling for heads. I think it’s important to let them find their way out of it.
“There can’t be complacency with a good side. I’m wrapped we get to have the same side for three games.”

Webster praised the form of their New South Wales cup team, which kicked off the season undefeated.
In an opposed session between both sides, Webster says the NSW cup side put them under pressure, which he says is good.
Warriors vs Roosters
Fresh off of their heroic win against the Penrith Panther last week, the Roosters now aim to topple the Warriors at home.
Both teams last met in Sydney, where the Roosters thrashed the Warriors 38-18.
Webster expects a strong performance from his opposition tonight.

“They got some bodies back this week, so they'll be able to strengthen.
“But, yeah, I thought they were physical. I thought they played a great bit of footy, and that really took the game to the Panthers.
“I feel like if both teams get their game on, we're going to see a hell of a game. The fans will. Then we've just got to remember to keep being ourselves.”
Warriors vs Roosters at Go Media Stadium kicks off at 8pm.
