Chow Funn and Vietnamese Crepe with Chef Ivan Pahk

Corporate Chef Ivan Pahk is from the restaurant group Na Hoaloha ‘Ekolu. One of the restaurants he represents is Aloha Mixed Plate and in this episode he shares their classic local favorite Chow Funn. From backyard parties to the County Fair, Chow Funn is something we all find comfort in and at Aloha Mixed Plate he sees their role as creating a place where local comfort food is a priority. Chef Pahk is no stranger to media attention having appeared in Diners Drive-Ins and Dives in 2006, named Chef of the Year by No Ka ‘Oi Magazine in 2007, and later Maui News readers voted him “Best Maui Chef.” Born and raised on O’ahu but residing and working in Lahaina for decades, Chef Pahk shares his take of the Hawai’i culinary scene.
