“I think it's south of France... I don't know too much about it. It’s a big challenge… especially with the language barriers, but I feel like it’s something I’ll enjoy.

“The brand of rugby is growing; it's developing a lot.”

Tu'ifua plans to stay in France for two years and hopes to return home during the Christmas break.

“Preseason started a couple of days ago, and I’ll be heading over on July 7." Family remains a key motivator for Tu'ifua.

“It is the key part of motivation for what I do. Everything you do is just to help grow your family.”

He also offered advice to aspiring players. “Surround yourself with the right people who will help you grow better every day.”

Looking ahead, Tu'ifua remains open to future opportunities, including the possibility of representing ‘Ikale Tahi (the Tongan rugby team) or Moana Pasifika.

“If an opportunity comes in, I’ll be happy to take it. If not, then I’ll just adapt to whatever’s in front of me.”
